I'm so  glad you're here. I am Lia, the founder and creator of this blog.

 

I started the blog in 2023 to share and document travel memories and tidbits about Greek culture from the perspective of a Greek-American who was born, raised, and educated in the United States. I grew up in Western Pennsylvania and through my studies and my work, I've had the opportunity to live in wonderful places around the globe, including Peru, Cyprus, and England just to name a few. 

 

I hope to showcase accessible and comprehensive information about Greece. My goal is to be a resource for anybody wanting to understand and learn more about the culture I’ve grown up with as part of the Greek diaspora in the U.S.

My Greek heritage has been an integral part of my life and my identity. It has enriched my life in ways I find myself increasingly grateful for, and I hope to share some of this richness with you through this blog.
